Financial Aid Leadership Symposium

JUNE 12TH - JUNE 13TH
Hilton Garden Inn
Albany, NY

The New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association, Inc. will hold its first Financial Aid Leadership Symposium from Tuesday, June 12th through Wednesday June 13th, 2018 at The Hilton Garden Inn - Albany Medical Center.

This two-day program is designed for financial aid administrators working in management or executive roles who want to discover and fine-tune their leadership abilities, as well as those with experience who are seeking to further their careers.

Day 1 opens with powerful presentations and down-to-earth conversations on multiple Leadership topics. In addition to group presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to share their own professional insights and words of wisdom with their peers during a dedicated breakout session. Those who bring a laptop to the training will have the opportunity to take an immersive Excel course designed especially for the needs of financial aid professionals.

Day 2 features technical training on advanced administrative topics, with a focus on best practices – all delivered by NYSFAAA’s top experts. There will also be a NYSFAAA Presidents’ Panel.

All participants are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity for professional networking through group and individual interaction. The training begins on Tuesday at 11:00am and ends on Wednesday at 2:45pm.

A certificate will be awarded on the final day of the event, acknowledging active and successful participation in the Symposium.
